Did You Want Cabinets With That? Many times, builders will improve their bid by presenting a proposal which doesn't include upgrades or has unrealistically low allowances for cabinetry, flooring and fixtures. Be wary of proposals that seem like they're a deal of a lifetime. It's inevitable that changes will occur along the way and you probably WILL exceed your original budget. The best thing you can do is to set money aside for these changes ahead of time. |
